Alexandra Peterson is a partner at KittyHawk, an investment firm focused on backing innovative companies from seed through late-stage pre-IPO. As a partner, Alexandra helps guide the firm and lead investments.
Prior to KittyHawk, Alexandra co-founded Madeira Global, where she pioneered values-based investment solutions for the private equity and credit sectors. Over nearly a decade, Madeira partnered with some of the world’s largest alternative asset managers, family offices, and Fortune 100 companies to build best-in-class ESG strategies and integration frameworks. The firm was acquired in 2020.
A recognized leader in impact investing and sustainable finance, Alexandra was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for Social Entrepreneurs in 2015. She is a sought-after global speaker, having presented at institutions including Yale University, UBS, J.P. Morgan, the Gates Foundation and the Nexus Global Summit at the United Nations.
Alexandra began her career as the first employee at G2 Investment Group, built by a founder of Guggenheim Partners, where she rose to serve as Managing Director and then COO. This experience formed the foundation of her expertise in finance and operations.
As an investor, Alexandra is personally passionate about scalable innovation. Her investment portfolio includes companies such as Contraline, Spark Neuro, Qvin, Pathwater, Athletic Brewing Company and Overlay Capital, where she also served on the board.
Furthermore, her board and advisory roles reflect a deep commitment to innovation and sustainability. Alexandra currently serves on the board of Altanine, revolutionizing drug delivery for enhanced patient outcomes, and is a Venture Partner at Desert Bloom Foods. She also sits on the Advisory Council of Rockefeller Capital Management, where she was appointed the first non-family member, advising on intergenerational investing and holistic wealth strategies.
Alexandra has been a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), Nexus Impact Society, and the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle. She has a B.A. from Middlebury College. She is based in Los Angeles.
