Paul Burgon is a Partner at KittyHawk Frontier, where he brings more than 30 years of leadership at the intersection of strategic investments, operations and innovation in energy and climate technology. Over the course of his career, Paul has invested in and created more than $3 billion of exits in nearly 100 companies, led transformative M&A and corporate venture capital activity, and played pivotal roles across both public and private enterprises.

Paul was instrumental in co-creating the Danaher acquisition system and corporate venture capital group, widely regarded as one of the most successful investment systems in the U.S. His leadership experience also includes running the U.S. division of a European climate tech firm, leading an advanced recycling startup and creating an exit, and serving in senior executive roles at Danaher, Steel Partners, and SWK Holdings.

Paul co-managed a public and private securities hedge fund and was involved in all investment, operations, investor relations and compliance activities. Paul was instrumental in creating an exit for the fund’s largest portfolio investment.

Most recently, Paul founded and led Exit Ventures, an energy and climate tech early-stage venture firm focused on creating strategic exits in renewable energy, grid efficiency, scalable AI infrastructure, ag tech, and sustainable materials. A frequent speaker on technology, strategic partnerships, corporate venture investments and strategic exits, he has also served on numerous public and private boards throughout his career.

Paul holds an International Executive MBA and a BSBA in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University. He is an avid cyclist and skier and enjoys traveling with his wife and family.
